Please Review Before Scheduling

Studio Policies

Thank you for selecting Kim Michele Skincare, LLC for your skin care needs. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the policies outlined below.

Before Your Treatment

Please do not receive or use the following within 7 days of your upcoming treatment:

  • Botox or fillers — these may be received immediately following your treatment.
  • Depilatories, waxing, epilating, or sugaring.
  • Retinols and glycolics.

If you arrive for your appointment and the service must be canceled because you have received or used any of the above, your appointment may be canceled and you will be charged for the service scheduled. Please contact me 72 hours prior to your appointment with any questions.

Your Appointment Is Reserved Just For You

I have a strict 72-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 72 hours before your appointment time.

When you schedule with me, that time is reserved specifically for you. Appointment confirmations are emailed immediately after scheduling and include policies and appointment specific information. If you have not received your confirmation within 30 minutes, please contact me immediately.

Appointment reminders are sent by Vagaro via email and text 72 hours before your appointment to help avoid no-show or late cancellation fees.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Late cancellations and missed appointments disrupt my schedule and prevent others from booking. Not reading the cancellation policies does not exempt clients from related fees.

  • Cancellation: 72 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will be charged the cost of the service scheduled.
  • No-Show: Failure to show for your appointment will result in a charge equal to the full service scheduled.

I understand unexpected situations can arise. If you cannot meet the cancellation deadline due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss the situation.

Cancelling Due To Illness

As a sole practitioner, it is important for me to stay healthy. If you or someone in your household has a contagious illness, including a cold, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule.

To ensure illness is not used as an excuse for last-minute cancellations, you will be charged for your canceled appointment and have 30 days to rebook. If you do not return within 30 days, the appointment is forfeited and not refunded.

Your Rating Matters

If you have encountered issues while trying to book online, it may be due to your rating being below 5 stars. This usually arises from prior reports of no-show appointments or late cancellations.

As a solo practitioner, my business relies heavily on clients honoring scheduled appointments or giving timely notice. Consequently, I only accept clients with a 5-star rating.

Unpredictable Schedules & Chronic Rescheduling

If your schedule tends to be unpredictable, please contact me before scheduling. We can collaborate to ensure your needs are met while also maintaining availability for others who depend on regular appointments.

Treatment Room & Guests

Guests, including well-behaved children, are not permitted at any time. This is standard practice for service providers. If you arrive with a guest or child, your treatment will be canceled and you will be charged 100% of the canceled service.

If a companion is medically necessary, please advise me prior to your appointment so we can discuss drop-off and pick-up. If you have special needs, please contact me 24 hours in advance so I may make any necessary adjustments for your comfort.

If you would like to bring your pre-teen or teen for a clarifying treatment, please contact me and we will make arrangements that we are both comfortable with.

Prices

I am committed to continuously expanding my services and bringing you the latest and greatest in skin care. Although every effort is made to keep the website and Vagaro menu updated, prices, services, and products are subject to change at any time without notice.

Refunds

I do not offer refunds on services rendered or products.

Gift Certificates

As of June 2022, I am no longer offering gift certificates. If you would like to gift someone a facial, please contact me for details on how to do so.

Provider & Client Relationship

I have a passion for skin care and enjoy providing luxury skin care experiences designed for your skin care goals and needs. Providing these services is a personal, hands-on experience done with great care.

Just as a client has the right to select a provider, I reserve the right to refuse service at any time, to anyone, without explanation.

Your Experience

I want to provide you with an escape from today’s busy world, where you can relax, refresh, and revive while receiving expertly created treatments for your skin’s needs.

I will only recommend treatments and products that are appropriate for your skin care health and goals. If there is something you are interested in and cannot find on my menu, please let me know and I will look into whether it is a good fit for my practice.
