Policies

Thank you for selecting me for your skin care needs. 

By scheduling an appointment, you agree to my Policies as set forth below.

Your first appointment

  • Please arrive 10-minutes prior to your first appointment. This will allow time for you to fill out appropriate consent forms, go over questions, etc. prior to your treatment. Not doing so may result in the shortening of your treatment time.

  • Please do not arrive more than 10-minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. To prevent interruption during services, my door is kept locked during treatment. For this reason I ask that you not arrive more than 10-minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment at which time the door will be unlocked.

Before your treatment

  • Do not receive Botox within 24-hours of your appointment (you may receive Botox immediately following your treatment).

  • Do not receive Fillers 7-days prior to your appointment (you may receive Fillers immediately following your treatment).

  • Do not use depilatories, wax, epilate or sugar your face prior to your treatment.

  • If receiving any of the ‘Reviving’ Treatments or Waxing, discontinue use of Retinols and Glycolics 7-days prior to your treatment date.

Arrival following your first appointment

Please always arrive 5-minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.  This will allow for time to enjoy a glass of water, use the restroom and turn off your cell phone so you can relax during treatment.

Late Arrival

One late Client can throw an entire day off schedule.  For this reason, if you are running late, please call/text. If I do not hear from you within 15-minutes of your scheduled appointment time, you will be considered a No Show (and fees will be assessed). Should you arrive late (and within the 15-minute window), your service may be shortened in order to accommodate subsequent guests on time and you will be charged the full service cost.  

Confirmations & Reminders

Your appointments are very important to me. They are reserved just for you with the expectation that if you book time with me, you will honor your appointment. But, we know life happens, and sometimes schedule changes are needed. I require 24-hours notice to cancel/reschedule your appointment at no charge.

An appointment Confirmation is sent by email immediately following the scheduling of your appointment and because I know life is hectic, an emailed appointment reminder is sent 48-hours in advance and a text reminder is sent 24-hours in advance to help you avoid the dreaded No Show or Cancellation Fees.

Even with all of these reminders, Late Cancellations and No Shows happen. Because of the financial penalties you are responsible for, here are a few things you can do to help you avoid them:

*After scheduling, double check your appointment confirmation email with your phone calendar or scheduling book to determine any discrepancies.

*Cross-check your appointment reminder email which arrives 48-hours prior to your scheduled appointment with your phone calendar or scheduling book to determine any discrepancies.

*Make sure that you mark my emails as “safe” so they are not filtered to your junk or spam folders.

*If you are not receiving text reminders 24-hours prior to your appointment, please let me know and I will opt you in for this service.

Cancelling with less than 24-hours notice

Late Cancellation Fee: 50% of the scheduled missed service. Note that those using Gift Certificates will be charged 50% of the value of their certificate.

I require 24-hours notice to reschedule/cancel at no charge. My online scheduling system will not allow you to cancel with less than 24-hours notice, so cancelling online is not an option. Instead, please call or text me.  I will do my best to find a waitlisted Client to take your place. If these attempts are successful, you will not be charged the Cancellation Fee.  However, if I cannot find someone able to shift gears at the last minute, you will be charged.  

The best way to avoid fees and possible uncomfortable situation for us both, is to Cancel/Reschedule outside the 24-hour Cancellation window.

Failure to Show

Failure to Show Fee: 100% of the scheduled missed service. Note that those using Gift Certificates forfeit their Certificate.

If you do not call, text or arrive within 15-minutes of your scheduled appointment time you are considered a ‘No Show’ and will be charged 100% of the service scheduled.  When you do not arrive for your scheduled and confirmed appointment, I not only lose your business for that time, I also lose the potential business of other Clients who could have scheduled and your appointment time goes unfilled. Again, your treatment time is reserved especially for you.  I am reachable by phone, email and text to cancel/reschedule.

The best way to avoid No Show fees and possible uncomfortable situation for us both, is to Cancel/Reschedule outside the 24-hour cancellation window.

Treatment Room/Guests

I am a Skin Care Professional who specializes in Anti-Aging and Acne.  I take what I do seriously and it is important that I am able to concentrate on my Client receiving treatment in order to create a plan of action to meet their skin care needs and goals. For this reason, no one other than the person receiving treatment is permitted.  If it is necessary for you to bring a companion due to medical needs, I ask that you advise me of this prior to your appointment. I reserve the right to cancel your appointment should you bring a guest without prior approval. Once approved, for your guests comfort, there is a waiting area where they may wait for you.   Those not adhering to this Policy will be asked to reschedule.

If you have special needs, please contact me 24-hours in advance of your scheduled appointment so that I may make any necessary adjustments to ensure your comfort.  

Parents are welcome (and encouraged) to schedule their teens for clarifying treatments (blackheads, pimples, acne).  However, parents will be asked to remain in the waiting area during treatment and must advise me prior to their appointment. 

For Liability reasons, children (toddlers +) are not permitted at ANY time.  Not even very well behaved children who can be entertained by an iPad. Those not adhering to this Policy will be asked to reschedule. Infants in carseats are welcome.

Illness

As a sole practitioner, it is important for me to stay healthy.  If you or another person in your household has a contagious illness, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. If you are not feeling well the day prior to your appointment, please reschedule. Thank you.
